We abide by Australian Counselling Association Code of Conduct and provide national standard counselling services. We hold contact information of the consumers, and in some cases, information regarding your family and social activities. The main purpose of holding this information is to better understand your circumstance so as to provide appropriate assistance and advice, and make suitable referral when necessary, and to ensure the safety of all consumers at all times. If we have to disclose some of this personal information to the professionals, organisations or government, this will be in accordance with the provisions of all relevant legislation and regulations that apply to us. If you are concerned that the Centre may have handled your personal information inappropriately, please contact us. All privacy complaints will be taken seriously and we will endeavour to deal with them promptly. In some cases we may require that you put your complaint in writing. If you have other inquiries about our privacy polices, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will endeavour to deal with them promptly as possible. |
