我们的首席注册心理咨询师及心理治疗师，是纽卡斯尔大学哲学博士，自2003年进入心理学院学习心理学以来已经是第22个年头，目前从事教育心理学和临床心理学研究以及临床心理咨询及治疗工作，已经服务超过40000小时以及接受相应的培训和督导监督。毕业于东北师范大学心理学系后，赴皇家墨尔本理工大学(RMIT)和莫纳什大学(Monash)修读应用心理学荣誉学士学位及心理咨询专业硕士学位，现是澳大利亚心理咨询协会（Australia Counselling Association）注册会员。擅长认知行为疗法及元认知疗法（包括注意力转移及正念分离技术）解决抑郁、焦虑等一些列心理健康问题并激发个人的心理源动力来应对问题，如人格障碍，情绪控制，燥郁症，性欲到错，创伤后压力症，情感关系，家庭暴力干预，亲子关系和网络成瘾问题。在东北师范大学修读心理学期间，曾参与过中国及加拿大家庭教育方式与孩子学业成绩的跨文化比较研究，并且以网络成瘾的优秀毕业论文从东北师范大学心理学毕业。在皇家墨尔本理工大学修读心理学荣誉学士学位期间，师从维多利亚州家庭教养研究中心(Parenting Research Centre) 副教授Jan Matthews女士，并参与了该中心的华人家庭教养干预项目的研究评估。在研究生阶段的学习工作中，在Doncare社区服务及Anglicare服务中心进行了专业实习，达到并获得澳大利亚心理咨询协会的注册标准。目前接受Medibank Private,Bupa Private, Australian Unity 以及Doctor's Health Fund私人保险, 以及正在普及中的国家残障保险计划NDIS。

Dr. Guan Wang complete his Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Newcastle, working hard in psychotheraeputic techniques for anxiety related conditions. In particular, he thoroughly reviewed current psychotherapeutic techniques, and developed and validated a new psychotherapeutic approach that offered a synthetic view of anxiety and theraeputic techniques. 

Obtained his bachelor degree in psychology from Northeast East Normal University. After that, he came to Australian and achieved Honours degree in psychology awarded by RMIT University and then completed his Professional Master degree in counselling and psychotherapy at Monash University. He prefers Cognitive behavioural therapy and metacognitive therapy in dealing with mental health issues, relationship issues and internet addictions.

He did a cross cultural research about the relationship between parenting styles and children's school achievement  at Northeast East Normal University and also did a research about Internet Addiction Disorders there. 

When did his Honours degree at RMIT University and Parenting Research Centre, he evaluated the effectiveness and appropriateness of a parenting intervention program within the local Chinese community.

Throughout his studies in counselling and psychotherapy, he did placement at Parenting Research Centre as a student researcher, Anglicare and Doncare Community and Counselling Centre as a volunteer to assist service delivery within the Chinese Community across  Melbourne. He is endeavour to help people with difficulties, especially the Chinese Immigrants and overseas students.

Currently he is  a full registered counsellor and psychotherapist within Australian Counselling Association, and accredited as private providers by Medibank Private, Bupa, Australian Unity, that means the medibank private member can the rebate when claim to your private insurance.
